For Dave

Memories flutter across my consciousness,

Joyful moments frozen in time.

Grief is an empty space where once you sat,

Your beautiful hand no longer in mine.

My Brother Phil

For my brother Phil.

Your  life  was taken to soon

without warning

Of course I  am still feeling

the depth of your great loss

I  need to right now

it keeps me near to you

I have found only one problem  with your  life,

it caused your death

Now I can’t see you like I used to, like I want to

What my eyes can’t see, my heart feels

you dwell in the deep recesses  of my inner being

where no harm or pain can reach

To a Stillborn Sister

By Andrea Gabrielli.

How do you love a person
Who never got to be,
Or try again to see a face
You never got to see?

How do you mourn the death of one
Who never got to live,
When there's nothing to feel good about
And nothing to forgive?
